I am Yogi. Here are some labels I associate with: mathematician, juggler, runner, humanitarian, grateful, slacker (hmm, I mean slackline walker), backpacker, caring, triathlete, software engineer, growth oriented, and child-like.
I live in San Francisco Bay Area. I used to work as a software engineer in Facebook from 2011-2017, a job that was a gift: I learned a lot there and I was humbled by some awesome people I met there. I quit that job to take some time off and take care of my own health and reflect on my life.
I love to work on myself to make improvement through habits: small and large. In short, I love to debug my “software” and make course corrections. I also love to help others through their difficulties. I love to teach. And the amazing thing is that I learn a lot about myself by helping others. In a sense, helping others is one of the best ways to help myself.
I am a renaissance man in the making. I know this a little vague, and this blog is a way to clarify my journey and get help from others; and help others with whatever a renaissance man can help with.
I realize that I am shooting for the stars here. This is a life long journey and, in the words of a friend quoting teenagers, I am stoked about it!
